Employees came together to support the initiative through donations of stationery items and school supplies. These contributions were complemented by the purchase of additional items based on the specific requirements provided by the residential home, ensuring that the children had access to the essential resources needed for their academic year.
Mapfre also provided school bags for 14 children, further supporting their preparations for the start of the new scholastic year.
Fr Johan Bugeja, who is responsible for St Patrick’s Residential Care, expressed his gratitude for the support received and highlighted the positive difference such initiatives can make in providing children and young people with the resources they need to succeed.
The initiative reflects Mapfre’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, together with the generosity of its employees. Through their collective support, colleagues helped make a meaningful contribution towards the education and wellbeing of the young people at St Patrick’s Residential Care.
