Over the past few months, Business Training Unit has been busy laying the foundations for the launch of the Mapfre Trainer Initiative. Inspired by Mapfre’s training best practices, this programme has been designed to recognise and celebrate the dedication, commitment, and expertise of colleagues who generously share their knowledge to enhance service excellence across the Organisation.
The initiative was officially launched on 7 October, beginning with a breakfast gathering attended by the 50 colleagues who expressed interest in participating. The overwhelmingly positive response from both current and aspiring trainers reflects the enthusiasm and commitment that exists within the organisation to foster a strong learning culture.
The launch event continued with an informative session led by Lynne Joslin, Marcos Garcia Barahona, and external trainer Michelle Fenech Seguna, Founder of SpeaktoMove, in collaboration with Loredana Mallia and Victoria Gauci from the HR team.
The Mapfre Trainer Certification Programme offers an engaging development journey that supports and recognises trainers at every stage of their progression. The programme includes trainer panel recognition, specialised certification levels, and a dedicated Train-the-Trainer Programme, which will be delivered by Michelle Fenech Seguna.
The initiative aims to provide Mapfre trainers with well-deserved recognition, professional exposure, prestige, Company support, and enhanced career development opportunities. Above all, it acknowledges their invaluable contribution as key drivers of business success and organisational growth.
To commemorate the launch, each participant was presented with a copy of The Workshop Survival Guide by Rob Fitzpatrick and Devin Hunt, an excellent resource designed to support and inspire trainers in their professional development journey.
