The policy provides covers for dogs and cats.
Is the age of the pet relevant in purchasing insurance?
The policy is available for pets that are at least three months old but not older than nine years.
Does pet insurance cover veterinary expenses due to sickness/illness?
This is optional additional cover which can be purchased at an extra charge.
Does the pet need to be microchipped in order to be covered?
Yes, the policy states that for a pet to be covered under this insurance the pet needs to be registered and identified with a microchip.
Is liability to others covered under the pet insurance?
If you incur legal liability as an owner of the pet the policy will cover up to the limit stated in the Schedule
