MAPFRE Middlesea sponsors Equestrian Festival
MAPFRE Middlesea sponsored an Equestrian Festival held at the Marsa Race Track on Friday 12th of May. Each year, the company sponsors a number of races held during Spring at the Race Track.
The winners of the ten races held were as follows: Nimbus Bjerregard (Driver: Clifforty Calleja), Vickens Swing,( Driver: Mark Mifsud) Wee Speedy As, ( Driver: Rodney Gatt) Tresor du Quesny, ( Driver: Andrew Farrguai) Roff Gy, ( Driver: Noel Baldacchino) Querby du Gite, (Driver: Nathaniel Barbara) Charm Blou, ( Driver Charles Magro), High Handed, ( Driver Tony Demanuele) Mid-Summer King ( Driver: Clint Vassallo) and New Man ( Driver: Mario Caruana).
This year, MAPFRE Middlesea also gave the opportunity for members of the public to attend the festival. Through an online competition, five winners could attend the festival together with their guest.
“Throughout the year, MAPFRE Middlesea supports a number of local sports events. We appreciate that horse-racing is a tradition and we want to help in maintaining that,” Judith Galea, Business Development chief officer at MAPFRE Middlesea said.
