MAPFRE is pleased to share the success of a recent employee-led initiative in support of two key charitable organisations: the Valletta Soup Kitchen and the St Jeanne Antide Foundation.
Employees across the organisation were encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Thanks to their generosity, a significant amount of food was collected and distributed to both entities, reinforcing MAPFRE’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community outreach.
The Valletta Soup Kitchen provides daily meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Beyond serving hot lunches and takeaway meals, it offers essential services including access to showers, laundry facilities, emotional and social support, and assistance for those seeking employment and reintegration into society.
The St Jeanne Antide Foundation delivers holistic, community-based support to vulnerable individuals and families facing complex life challenges. Their services include professional social work, mental health and emotional support, domestic violence outreach, and advocacy—tailored to empower people to improve their wellbeing and regain stability.
“At MAPFRE Malta, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in our community,” said Etienne Sciberras, CEO of MAPFRE Middlesea. “This initiative is a reflection of our team’s dedication to helping those in need, and we are proud to support the vital work carried out by these two organisations.”
This initiative is part of MAPFRE’s broader efforts to contribute positively to Maltese society through corporate social responsibility and solidarity.
