Fundación Mapfre has launched a new international call for its Social Outreach Awards, which recognize individuals and organizations that significantly contribute to improving society. The total prize fund is €160,000, with €40,000 awarded in each of the four categories. Applications are open until 25 May. Full terms and conditions are available at www.fundacionmapfre.org.
The four award categories are:
- José Manuel Martínez Martínez Lifetime Achievement Award
Honors individuals whose lifelong professional and personal efforts have improved the lives of others. Nominations may be submitted only by former winners, current panel members, Fundación Mapfre trustees and management, and other invited experts. - Award for the Entity with the Best Track Record in Social Causes
Recognizes institutions with impactful and effective work in social, cultural, road safety, injury prevention, or health promotion fields. - Award for the Project or Initiative with the Best Social Impact
Highlights innovative and original projects that substantially improve people’s lives and can be replicated in other contexts. - Award for the Best Initiative in the Agricultural and Livestock Sector
A biennial prize that rewards entrepreneurs and professionals who have introduced innovations, strengthened quality and safety standards, optimized resources, and enhanced sustainability in the agricultural and livestock sector.
