MotorMax is an intelligent and innovative insurance product. It is especially designed to put you in control of your motor insurance premium as your driving performance can help you save money on your insurance.
The concept is simple-we’ll install a telematics device in your car. This device will inform us about how well you drive by giving us your MotorMax Factor.

Safe drivers can earn a discount of up to 25% on their premium at renewal.

What driving habits can lead to a discounted premium?

  • Driving within the legal speed limits
  • Low mileage
  • Not driving the car during the night (between 0:00 and 4:59am)

You can view the information collected from your device via an online portal and a mobile app. This information helps you to manage your insurance costs. This data can only be viewed by you. Mapfre Middlesea receives only aggregate data and your privacy is guaranteed!

The discount given by the company is not static and is subject to change upon renewal of your policy.

Locate your vehicle in case of theft
The Motormax telematics device enables you to know the exact location of your car. It can help to track your vehicle if it’s stolen.
Rest assured that this will have no impact on your privacy. At any point in time, Mapfre Middlesea will only have access to aggregate information, and no access to one particular person’s data.

Immediate dispatch in case of accident
Motormax drivers can drive with greater peace of mind. The real time accident alert helps us to help you when you need us the most. If you have a car accident, the telematics device senses a strong impact on the vehicle and will send an alert to our call centre, Mapfre Assist. Our trained team of representatives will then call on your mobile phone to check if you are ok and to determine whether any emergency services are required. If we are unable to reach you, emergency services will be alerted and directed to the location of the accident, potentially saving lives.

It is a well-known fact that speeding is a major factor which leads to road accidents. In order to improve safety on our roads, we realise the importance that drivers abide by the speed limits. The telematics box knows what the speed limit is on the road you’re driving in. Careful driving will help you get greater discounts on your insurance premium. Motormax is all about rewarding safe driving. We prefer incentives rather than punishments. Therefore your driving performance can lower your insurance premium but it cannot increase it.

After downloading – Instructions for use

Welcome to iAssist, the new MAPFRE Middlesea’s way of requesting Roadside Assistance services. Please follow the instructions on how to proceed:

  1. Go to My Profile and create a new one with your Personal Details and details about your vehicle(s).
  2. You are now ready to ask for assistance services. Go to the Assistance logo.
  3. Please select Type of Assistance required.
  4. Select the type of Breakdown and press the Next button.
  5. Wait until the GPS locates your position (This could take few seconds. The app will show a blue point).
  6. Complete other details (if any) that may locate you more easily (In front of… near… etc).
  7. Press the SEND button.
  8. A pop-up message will appear informing that the request has been received and is being processed.
  9. The status of your Assistance is “Waiting”.
  10. When assigned, the status will change to “Finished”.
  11. You will receive an SMS on your mobile phone with the estimated time of arrival.
  12. In the History button you will be able to find the details of all the Assistance Services requested by you.
